Best Thesis Award

Students who had their degree awarded by November are invited to submit their thesis for the Best Thesis Award. Thesis in PDF format should be sent to toghether with an accompanying letter from the supervisor. The deadline for the submission is Friday 17 November 2006.

Travel and Accommodation

Due to the fact that Bolzano is a popular destination for this time of the year, we weren't able to guarantee accommodation in town. We booked rooms in the nearby village Postal, easily reachable from/to Bolzano by means of local transportation.

It is possible to commute from Postal to Bolzano and vice versa both by bus and by train. Timetable is available at the SIT South Tyrol Public Transportation Service website. To look for busses, choose 601 Postal - Burgstall and 42 Bolzano - Bozen as starting/arrival points, to look for trains, choose 467 Postal Staz. - Burgstall Bhf. and 4001 Bolzano FS - Bozen Bhf.

Local Info

Check the web page of the Tourist board for more information on Bolzano area. The beginning of December is one of the busiest holiday period due to the Christmas market.
